The Nigerian rapper, Olamide who recently released an album has vowed that not being able to bring food to the table thrust his hustling spirit.

The “bobo” crooner revealed this while speaking to the Guardian UK where he revealed most of his awful struggle in the ghetto.

According to him, he outlined that life in the ghetto is just the same in many countries. As he revealed that not being able to carter for his family motivated him to hustle hard.

In his words, he said:

“Surviving was hard. Bariga was not far from the other slums you see across the world, from Mumbai to New York and London – life in the ghetto is almost always the same everywhere.”

“There were days when not being able to afford three square meals was a big deal for my family. All of that motivated me to hustle hard.”

”I also wanted to see the whole world and experience different cultures from what I grew up seeing.”

Olamide is recognised globally as one of the best Rapper and singer in Nigeria.
